Often, the biggest difference we can make is trauma reduction, after a violent encounter.  However, this is not a typical Red Cross first aid class. Whether concerned about a one on one attack, or responding to a mass casualty incident such as a rapid mass murder attack or an event such as the Boston Marathon bombing, each attendee will be able to confidently address gunshot wounds, large lacerations, and explosion injuries including traumatic amputations, as well as identify and use all the necessary equipment for treatment.  The information is also geared towards recreational shooting accidents, with significant carryover into daily life, such as responding to serious vehicle accidents

  • Limited to 25 participants
  • Must be at least 16 years old to participate
  • Suggested donation of $25 to cover supply costs
  • Weapons prohibited on site for this class.
