Small Group Ministry

There are some natural desires born into every person. We all want to...

Members of a Small Group

These desires add up to a need we all share: to experience community. Here at Redeemer, you can experience community in a small group.

At Redeemer, the small group is the best place for sustained life change to occur. In a small group, people study God's Word together and discuss the issues and challenges of life. It's also where they pray, care for one another, and are missed if they don't attend.

What Small Groups Are - and Are Not

Are: Small groups are groups of 5 - 15 people who meet together on a regular basis.
Are Not: They are not gatherings of seminary educated super-Christians - they are people just like you.
Are: Small groups are fun, open environments for group discussion around a Biblical topic, led by a facilitator.
Are Not: They are not teacher led Bible studies. We have other opportunities on Sunday mornings for in depth Bible studies.
Are: Small groups welcome visitors with open arms and warm hospitality.
Are Not: They are not exclusive social clubs where you have to apply for membership.

Connect

Redeemer Lutheran Church has six small groups that meet all over the Kanawha Valley. There may even be one close to you. They meet at different times of the week, so one should fit into your schedule.
