Seven Questions with a Servant: Jane Charnock

1. What's your name?

Jane Charnock

2. Will you please share a little about yourself?

I’m a lifelong Charlestonian and work for the Attorney General’s office as counsel for the Divisions of Natural Resources, Forestry and the Tourism Office.  While I don’t have children, I live with my boys (dogs Phillip and Truman, cats Omar and René and antique Amazon parrot Dirk).

3. How long have you been attending/serving at Redeemer?

Four years.

4. In what ways do you or have you serve(d) at Redeemer and which is/was your favorite way?

I ring with handbell choir, overact with the drama team and I have participated in several share groups. I also serve on the Altar Guild. Altar preparation is my favorite, because it reminds me of helping my mom prepare the altar at my childhood church.

5. How has serving at Redeemer impacted you?

I now recognize that it is a joy, honor and privilege to serve the Lord.

6. What’s something about you not many folks know?

I’m a pen diva—-I will only write with a fountain pen.

7. What do you like most about Redeemer?

Everyone is loving and welcoming and the teaching is Bible-based.  Redeemer is truly my help, hope, home, in the body of Christ.
