Security & Defense Classes

We are excited to offer a few helpful security and defense classes at Redeemer as a part of our Congregational Care Activity Focus Area.

All of these classes are free to Redeemer families and their guests, though we do ask for a small donation ($10-25/participant) to cover the costs of the supplies associated with the training, such as office supplies, bandages, gauze, tourniquets, etc)

Currently, we offer three introductory-level classes. You may check dates and read descriptions below. Practical and hands-on, each class is lead by a trained and certified instructor. Redeemer Lutheran Church hosts the classes on its campus, though the Handgun Safety and Concealed Carry class will feature a portion of the training at a local firing range.

Participation in all classes is recommended, as the skill sets build upon one another.

For each class, bring writing materials and any personal equipment you wish to get more familiar with (personal medical equipment, for instance)

Register by clicking on the class below and completing the form on that page.
