Church Put Under Wrap

By the beginning of October the front roof dormers had been added to break up the plainness of the building’s front. Weather barrier wrap was attached all around the church.

The annual Men’s Retreat was changed to a work Saturday, and opened with devotions inside the church. Soffit and facia were attached to the eaves and windows were installed.

The church has a lot of fiberglass insulation. Dorothy, one of the Laborers for Christ who had arrived in October, put in so much of the church’s insulation that she was called the “Insulation Queen”.

Our workers hung the vinyl siding around the church. A professional crew shingled the roof.

October weather was still mild enough that lunches were held in the outdoor break area.
