Twenty Years: In Late July and early August 2002, Walls continued to rise

Walls continue to rise at Deerwalk Lane

The church construction theme for the last week of July and first week of August was “WALLS”. The wood interior and exterior walls were built, lifted into place, and sheathing attached.

The July 27 work day had to contend with some showers. The August 3 work day was special because a youth group from Illinois (Immanuel Lutheran) joined us. They worked on walls and clearing brush on the hillside. The temperature reached the upper 90s that day. We rewarded them with a trip to a swimming pool at the end of the day. We had a wonderful worship service with them the next morning.

Two-thousand twenty-two marks the 20th anniversary of the construction of the Redeemer facility located at 1 Deerwalk lane. During the 2022 year, we will be showcasing photos from throughout the construction.
