Thinking outside the cardboard Box: A new idea for Fall 2022

students have expressed how meaningful and uplifting it is to receive a brief hand-written card.

Autumn is in the air which means it's time to show support to our College, Graduate School, and Continuing Education Students.

This Fall Semester, instead of stuffing Care Packages, Community Care Team is asking our Redeemer family to help stuff some Care Envelopes. There are two ways you can help us succeed:

  1. Monetary donations for gift cards. Rather than sending individual items, each Student will be receiving a VISA spending card to help with school expenses or just to treat themselves.

  2. Write notes of encouragement. Even in this age of texting, students have expressed how meaningful and uplifting it is to receive a brief hand-written card. All it takes is a minute to write down a few sentences that will surely brighten a day, and make a student feel connected to their church family.

We have 12 students at this time and our goal is to send a BARRAGE of encouragement for each of them.

Please consider having your Bible Study Groups, Sunday School class, or other social groups participate in the Card Drive - there is no limit on age or quantity.

Cash, checks, and electronic donations are accepted. If you need, blank note cards will be available in the Narthex.

2022 FALL DEADLINE IS OCTOBER 2!
