Aid to Flood Victims in Eastern Kentucky

Devastating flooding has affected more than 100,000 people in eastern Kentucky.

Redeemer’s disaster fund (C.I.D.E.R., critical incidents, disasters, and emergencies response), which is administered by the Community Care Team, has made a $1000 donation to a responding relief agency, Lutheran Disaster Response. Matching funds were also obtained by making the donation through Thrivent. Thrivent will match $1 for every $2 donated to one of three relief agencies (Christian Appalachian Project, Convoy of Hope, or Lutheran Disaster Response).

Individuals can still make donations to help the flood victims. To qualify for matching funds donate through the Thrivent web page >>
