1. What's your name?

Linda Wojcieszak

2. Will you please share a little about yourself (where you’re from, where you work, about your spouse, children, grandchildren, pets, etc)?

I was born in Manhattan, NY and spent most of my formative years in Syracuse, NY and Midlothian, VA. I graduated from Georgia Southern University in 1985 with a B.S. in Child Development. I met my husband Bob on June 2, 2017 through a dating website and we were married on June 2, 2018. I have two children, my son Brady is 26 and is the Assistant Athletic Director of Compliance at Marshall University, and my daughter Ryann is 23 and is a kindergarten teacher at Explorer Academy in Huntington. I have two bonus sons - Brian is 28 and works at Gestamp and Justin is 24 and is a Safety Engineer for Amazon in Chicago. I have been a paralegal at the law firm Freeman & Chiartas for over 28 years. Bob and I have 4 dogs and 3 cats (one of the hazards of volunteering at the animal shelter on weekends).

3. How long have you been attending/serving at Redeemer?

Bob and I have been attending Redeemer since September 2017. The moment I walked into the sanctuary I felt like I had come home.

4. In what ways do you or have you serve(d) at Redeemer and which is/was your favorite way?

I serve on the Hospitality Committee and the Guest Connection. I can't say that either is my favorite because I love serving in both capacities.

5. How has serving at Redeemer impacted you?

Through Pastor Frank's sermons and messages my faith has grown and my relationship with God is much stronger.

6. What’s something about you not many folks know?

I'm partially colorblind.

7. What do you like most about Redeemer?

Moving around a lot, I attended many churches. At some churches you feel like a visitor or an outsider. From the moment I walked into Redeemer, I felt like I had come home and was with family.
